LNC's playgroups are a great way to spend time with your kids while connecting with other local parents! In typical times, groups meet weekly from October to June in members’ homes, local parks, or other fun locales chosen by your playgroup. Due to the current pandemic, we are holding off on creating individual playgroups like we have done in past years, but we still want to provide a way for you to connect with other families with similar aged children in the meantime. We will be arranging virtual meetups for various age groups, which you can join to meet other parents (kids are welcome to join as well). Learn more about Playgroups here.
It’s amazing what we’re able to accomplish for our community when we engage our members, and support our local charitable organizations! Whether it’s helping to sort donations at Bundles of Joy, collecting needed supplies for Sharing Shelf, or contributing Thanksgiving meals to Larchmont Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force, LNC provides many ways for you to donate your time and talent – or those extra school supplies, coats, and toys - to people who need them most. Learn more about our community outreach here.
Whether you’re coming from the train or running out after bedtime, it’s always fun to unwind with the girls while enjoying cocktails, shopping, flower arranging, spa treatments, or fitness events. Cheers to the ladies of LNC!
You deserve a hall pass! Clear your schedule and take a night to hang with the guys while watching Monday Night football, facing off over the poker table, or having a beer hall adventure.
Take a break from a busy morning and grab a cup of joe with some new neighbors! These low-key gatherings are held monthly at member’s homes. Bagels and coffee are provided, with on-site babysitting usually available. Some meetings include fun guest speakers addressing topics such as local real estate, interior design, and nutrition trends!
COVID Edition: Looking to connect with other LNC members during Covid-19 in a safe way? Fill out this form to be paired with another LNC member for a coffee. Meetings can be virtual or take place in a park or backyard, following social distancing guidelines. Matches will be sent via email, and then it is up to the pairs to decide where and when to meet.
Call it a date night or come stag, but please join us for a little wining and dining! Try out local restaurants and watering holes, celebrate Oktoberfest, or enjoy wine tasting in a member's home. Whether you bring your partner or simply meet your LNC friends, there's always a fun crowd!
LNC's Social and Outreach committees work together to offer monthly kid-centric events that enable our members with children to log some quality family time while meeting new friends and neighbors. Check out our family parties, attend story time or music class, decorate some cupcakes, or join us for a park cleanup!
Love to read? Love to socialize with friends in the comfort of someone's home? Why not do both! Our popular Book Club meets monthly at members' homes, and reads across multiple genres. Come for the book discussion, or just come to chat over wine and snacks!
Game on! Join the guys on the court Tuesday evenings from September through June. Participants play in weekly 4-on-4 pickup games in the gym at Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont. There is a separate fee for the men’s basketball program (to help cover facility costs and additional liability insurance). You can learn more about Men's Basketball here.
Note: Due to the current pandemic, basketball for the 2020-21 season could look different this year. We will be determining the best path forward based on the latest social distancing guidelines in the Fall, and will send an update to our members.
Special Interest Groups
The Club sponsors a variety of groups that appeal to the diverse interests of our membership. In the past, we have had successful kids-at-play clubs, French speaking clubs, and walking clubs. Are you interested in joining a special interest club this season? Are you willing to help organize? We're also always looking for new ideas that would appeal to the membership so we'd love to hear your ideas.
